Welcome to Silver Peak Studio and Gallery!
Small Class Size
Our metalsmithing classes have a maximum of 6 students, always. That way, you know you are getting an ideal learning experience with a lot of hands-on guidance from your instructor. Our goal is that no student feels left out!
Expert Instruction
Whether it's for our Metals 1 class or a Master Class, each of our instructors is an expert in the topic that they are teaching. We have a deep respect for the art form and giving the best possible instruction through patience, knowledge, and humor! Also, each of us are working professional jewelers, which means we have developed a ton of tip and tricks that we're happy to share!
A Safe, Professional Studio
Safety is our top priority, and that includes safeguarding your health. We have a proper ventilation system for soldering (one that effectively extracts fumes out of the work space at the proper distance), and we give out N95 masks at no extra charge that you must wear when polishing metal (this safeguards from silicosis). You also have a dedicated jeweler's bench for class, with your own set of hand tools, which are cleaned after every class.
Here's what our students have to say about us...

Jessica T.:
I loved the Metals 1 & 2 classes I took at Silver Peak Studio! The studio is so bright and inviting. And the instructors I had were amazing. They are so knowledgeable and friendly. I had so much fun learning how to make silver and stone rings and can’t wait to take more classes!

Erika S.:
Classes and teachers here at Silver Peak Studio are top notch! I've enjoyed the classes I've taken here, and I've always felt like I was in great hands with these skilled teachers. The Torch-Fired Enameling class was such a FUN and well-taught and enjoyable class! I was offered such great tips, our instructor kept us safe, managed a perfect pace and balance...totally recommend!

Stephen H.:
Cheyenne was a great instructor. He was hands on for 100% of the process during the 2-day Beginning Casting class. He helped me understand how to do wax carving and casting. I was also able to observe three different types of metal being cast (bronze, silver, and gold), which was great!
